2021 DSST Public Schools Virtual Slice of Pi

This event is hosted by DCSC member, DSST Public Schools.

The 2021 Virtual Slice of Pi event will celebrate DSST’s innovative STEM Program and honor the remarkable commitments of our contributors for their philanthropic investments that assist us in meeting our ambitious mission of “transforming urban public education by eliminating scholastic inequity and preparing all students for success in college and the 21st century.”

The annual Slice of Pi event plays a critical role in our ability to provide programs that have an impact on addressing the complex personal and educational issues faced by our student populations. Usually, this event is an in-person celebratory evening that includes dinner, special guest speakers, and student demonstrations followed by a VIP cocktail party for board members, event sponsors and major donors. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s Slice of Pi will be reimagined as a virtual affair that is sure to be every bit as special as those held previously. Special Guest this year will be Reed Hastings, Founder & Co-Chair of Netflix.

The goal is to have 1,000+ virtual attendees!  ALL ARE WELCOME & ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND!  Please pass the word!
