DSST School Opening: Aurora Science & Tech

Our member school, Denver School of Science and Technology (DSST), is adding a new school to the Coalition!

The DSST Network will be launching its first school in Aurora, Colorado in 2019-20, Aurora Science & Tech! This campus will serve 6th graders in its 1st year and build out to 6th-8th grade in 2022.  Aurora Science & Tech (AST) will create a dynamic hands-on STEM learning environment for a diverse socially and economically integrated community of students. Located on the Anschutz campus (in 2020), the school will develop rigorous and engaging learning experiences alongside medical and scientific institutions. The school’s aim is to support students to graduate, earn acceptance, and be successful in college, career, and life. Aurora Science & Tech will be led by School Director, Peter Sherman, and School Director in Training, Kristin Hull.
