Misogynoir in Education: Experiences of Black Women in Education

As the fight for gender equity in education policy and leadership continues, we must examine the obstacles faced by Black women in education leadership and elected office. Black women often face dual burdens lived at the intersection of their race and gender identity, frequently subjected to lower compensation, microagressions, and a slew of other insults not faced by their male peers or white female colleagues.
