Is the solution to educational inequity really more diverse-by-design schools? While there may be no silver bullet to racism in America’s schooling, DCSC members are developing inclusive, anti-racist schools designed to benefit all students.

One DCSC member in particular, Valor Collegiate Academies, is addressing the inequity found in Nashville by ___________. They have shared some of their tools and strategies for diverse school communities by being a host site for our UnifiED School Launch Fellowship. This past year, Valor hosted Natalie Morosi, a UnifiED fellow from Cohort Three. Natalie worked at Valor as part of a year-long fellowship in preparing to open her own intentionally integrated school.

Valor will also be serving as a host site for the UnifiED School Launch Fellowship again for Cohort Four. Through DCSC members such as Valor, our Coalition continues to keep equity at our center as we promote, expand and support the diverse-by-design movement.
