During the 22-23 school year, 78 participants from 28 DCSC member schools gathered in our Communities of Practice (CoP) to develop resources for the field of diverse-by-design education practitioners.

Connect as leaders. Grow expertise. Bring justice to education.

Sustainable leadership pipelines are essential for schools to achieve their mission. Passing the Baton must be an intentional, transparent, and coordinated effort. This tool kit provides resources that focus on 3 key areas, 1) strengthening internal transitions, development, retention, and succession planning through tangible tools and strategies, 2) supporting school leaders in thinking through what roles to prioritize in succession planning and how to onboard new teammates and, 3) creating short-term and long-term succession plans for various roles.

Check out this toolkit for ways you can create short and long-term succession plans to keep intentionally diverse schools on the right track.
