This event is hosted by Education Leaders of Color (EdLoC).
The COVID-19 pandemic, the Summer 2020 uprisings in support of Black lives, the ongoing separation of families at the US border, the increase in racially motivated violence against the APIA community, the continued isolation and erasure of Native and Indigenous tribes and communities made 2020 an exceptionally difficult year for all of us. And yet, amid these challenges, our communities persevered. We spoke unapologetic truths, supported our young people and their families, and created moments of joy—all in service of our individual well-being and collective liberation.
While the fight is far from over, you are invited to take an intentional pause at the 2021 Virtual National Convening. We will heal, share, and celebrate together. We will come together and live into the sentiment: “when you feel hurt, come home.”
Join us as we “Celebrate Our Resilience.”
