This online webinar is hosted by the National Charter Collaborative.
NCC has developed a series of online webinars about fundraising set for the first Wednesday of every month. Each session is designed to be informative and relational and is facilitated by fellow leaders in education and/or the non-profit industry who have successfully done the work.
The first webinar is on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at 1:00pm, EST. This session is titled Fundraising 101: The Nuts and Bolts of Funding Options and Strategies. The facilitator Robert Clark, Founder & CEO of Newark Opportunity Youth Network (NOYN), will share his wealth of knowledge, skills, and expertise regarding the foundations school leaders must know before beginning the search for fundraising. Over the course of his career, Robert has secured funding from federal and state government sources as well as a number of public and private foundations such as New Schools Venture Fund, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Prudential Foundation, and many others.
