NCSRC Webinar: Creating Communities of Care

The 2022-2023 academic year is in full swing, and mental health remains a challenge for many school communities. Now more than ever, education leaders recognize that it’s essential to support the well-being of students and teachers. Join the National Charter School Resource Center (NCSRC) on Thursday, October 20 from 2:00 – 3:30 P.M. ET/11:00 A.M. – 12:30 P.M. PT for “Creating Communities of Care,” a virtual workshop that will highlight a framework to help you further your supports for students and staff.

During this event, attendees will hear from Dr. John Gasko, chief well-being and SEL officer at Uplift Education, about their work to create a community of care throughout the nation’s fourth largest charter school system. Participants will also share with each other how they are supporting student and staff well-being and mental health, and work on their own plan to advance their work in this area.
